Secure Boot Requirement

SARD Anti-Cheat requires Secure Boot to be enabled on your system.

What Is Secure Boot?

Secure Boot is a Windows security feature that helps ensure your PC starts only with trusted software.

How to Check

  1. Press Win + R.
  2. Type msinfo32 and press Enter.
  3. Find Secure Boot State.
  • On: Secure Boot is enabled.
  • Off: Secure Boot must be enabled.

How to Enable Secure Boot

  1. Restart your PC.
  2. Enter your BIOS/UEFI settings. This is usually done by pressing Delete or F2 during startup.
  3. Find the Secure Boot setting.
  4. Set it to Enabled.
  5. Save your changes and restart.

Notes

  • Your system must be using UEFI mode, not Legacy or CSM mode.
  • Setting names and menu locations may vary depending on your motherboard or laptop manufacturer.

Still Not Working?

If Secure Boot is already enabled but you still see this error:

  1. Restart your PC.
  2. Check for a BIOS/UEFI update from your system or motherboard manufacturer.
  3. Contact support and include your Support Code.

What Is This?

This check helps prevent the system from loading untrusted boot components before Windows starts. Some games require this protection level for SARD Anti-Cheat to run.
