This guide shows you how to check if the SARD driver is properly installed and running on Windows 10/11.
Requirements
- DriverView from NirSoft
- Download page: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html

- Download the ZIP that matches your Windows:
- 64-bit Windows: DriverView for x64
- 32-bit Windows: regular DriverView
- Right-click the ZIP → Extract All… to a folder (e.g., Desktop\DriverView).
Step 2: Run DriverView as Administrator
- Open the extracted folder.
- Right-click
DriverView.exe(orDriverView64.exe) → Run as administrator.
Step 3: Filter Non-Microsoft Drivers
In DriverView, open Options and turn on:
- Hide Microsoft Drivers
- (optional) Mark Non-Microsoft Drivers
This makes it easier to find the SARD driver in the list.
Step 4: Find the SARD Driver
- Press
Ctrl+Fand search forSARDorsard_1.0.1.18.sys - You should see a line similar to:
- Display Name: SARD Anti-Cheat Driver
- Company: Softler LLC
- File Name/Driver Name: sard_1.0.1.18.sys
Step 5: Check if It's Running
Look at the Started column:
- Yes → The driver is installed and loaded.
- No → The driver is installed but not currently loaded.
If it says No, start the game/launcher that uses SARD, then press F5 in DriverView to refresh.
