SARD Driver Verification

This guide shows you how to check if the SARD driver is properly installed and running on Windows 10/11.

Requirements

Verification Steps

Step 1: Download DriverView

  1. Open the page above.
  2. Download the ZIP that matches your Windows:
    • 64-bit Windows: DriverView for x64
    • 32-bit Windows: regular DriverView
  3. Right-click the ZIP → Extract All… to a folder (e.g., Desktop\DriverView).

Step 2: Run DriverView as Administrator

  1. Open the extracted folder.
  2. Right-click DriverView.exe (or DriverView64.exe) → Run as administrator.

Step 3: Filter Non-Microsoft Drivers

In DriverView, open Options and turn on:

  • Hide Microsoft Drivers
  • (optional) Mark Non-Microsoft Drivers

This makes it easier to find the SARD driver in the list.

Step 4: Find the SARD Driver

  1. Press Ctrl+F and search for SARD or sard_1.0.1.18.sys
  2. You should see a line similar to:
    • Display Name: SARD Anti-Cheat Driver
    • Company: Softler LLC
    • File Name/Driver Name: sard_1.0.1.18.sys

Step 5: Check if It's Running

Look at the Started column:

  • Yes → The driver is installed and loaded.
  • No → The driver is installed but not currently loaded.

If it says No, start the game/launcher that uses SARD, then press F5 in DriverView to refresh.
