SARD Client Log Collection

If you encounter issues while using SARD Anti-Cheat, follow these steps to collect diagnostic logs and send them to support.


Collection Steps

Step 1: Locate the SARD Folder

  1. Go to the folder where your game executable (.exe) is located.
  2. Inside this folder, you should see a subfolder named SARD (it contains files like SARD.Updater.exe).

Step 2: Enable Debug Logging

Inside the SARD folder, you need a file named Config.ini.

  • If you already have this file: Simply copy it into the SARD folder.
  • If not: Create a new file named Config.ini in the SARD folder and paste the following content:

[Sard Configs]
LOG_LEVEL=TRACE

Step 3: Run the Game Again

  1. Launch your game normally.
  2. Let the issue happen again (if possible).

Step 4: Find the Log File

After running the game, a log file will be created in the same SARD folder. The file will be named similar to: SARD.Updater_LOG_1234.log (where 1234 is an example Process ID).

Step 5: Send the Log File to Support

  1. Zip the log file (Right-click → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder).
  2. Send the ZIP file to support team via Discord ticket or email.

Notes

  • Multiple Logs: If multiple logs are created, you can send all of them to help get a full picture.
  • Screen Capture: If the issue is very consistent, feel free to also record a short screen capture.
  • Privacy: The log files may contain sensitive system information. Only share them with official support channels.
  • Cleanup: After collecting logs, rename or remove the Config.ini file to return to normal operation.
